At the 2026 Offstreet User Conference, there was a dedicated product table where customers could weigh in directly on the Offstreet product roadmap - literally placing stickers on the features they most wanted to see. What emerged was a clear, prioritized picture of where campus parking professionals need Offstreet to go. Here’s what we heard.

No feature drew more interest than SSO for parker user accounts and admin users. Customers see these as two sides of the same coin and the unlock for a whole category of problems they can’t solve today.
The vision: admin accounts sit behind campus SSO (no separate passwords), and permits are assigned by role. A student logs in and sees their set permit options. A staff member sees different ones. A contractor sees none. Rights management, abuse prevention, and identity-based access… all flowing from a single account layer.
SSO and Parker Accounts are currently available for select pilots! Reach out to the Offstreet team to learn more.
Across every group that stopped by at the Product table, invoicing came up as the most urgent, most fixable pain point. The current state at most campuses: export Offstreet data to Excel, manually fill a PDF invoice, send it to a department, chase them for payment, and reconcile in a separate financial system.
What we hear our campus partners want is straightforward: generate an invoice directly from the permit list view, send it electronically, and accept payment in-system. One campus even wants a ledger field that maps to department codes so invoices can be auto-generated without any spreadsheet manipulation. Several campuses also need external event organizers to be able to pay invoices by credit card.
This was called out explicitly as a “high-value, low-friction win” and it came up in every single product session. Stay tuned for news on this one!
One campus mentioned that they are opening a gateless clinic and needs a specific flow: a parker starts a session, goes inside, and receives a validation code from clinic staff that retroactively reduces their rate, without triggering a second transaction. The current workaround is clunky, especially in multi-vendor environments.
We’re on it, this gap is actively being explored by the Offstreet product team.
Multiple campuses also described another desired feature: a parent capacity block that child events draw from. Right now, multiple departments can each book guest parking simultaneously with no awareness of each other, leading to potential overflow. What the potential fix looks like is a shared pool where a total quantity is set at the top, and individual department bookings subtract from it in real time.
We also reinforced that misuse is a shared pain point among campuses. Blood donor centers with 3x more parking registrations than actual donors, shared QR codes bypassing time limits, employees gaming guest validation. Offstreet built a custom misuse report for one customer (flagging any plate appearing 3+ times per month), and the discussion table agreed it should be productized, not remain a one-off custom build.
In the meantime, customers can request the custom report through their account manager.
The sticker exercise made the priorities visible in a way that’s hard to argue with. SSO and invoicing are the clear top two. Everything else was a strong second tier, and the list is a direct reflection of what’s actually slowing our customers down. If you have thoughts or additions you would like to see on the Offstreet product roadmap, reach out to your account manager today, we’re more than happy to bring these forward to our product team.
